Pôm Bouvier B (SiS_Mic)
Welten
Feedback-strings-speakers
This artist works on long sound processes: cycles that are stretched and sounds that are built up. She uses objects and differents natural materials in additional to a laptop, a hand-made sound table, and a big feedback speaker. Her improvisations start with particles and turns slowly into a kind of trance using the acoustic properties of the space.

Pôm Bouvier B. is an electracoustic composer. She experiments with sound, improvisation and sound installations. She describes her music as ‘body music’, because of its physical implications for her and for the audience. For many years, she pursued a variety of artistic practices before beginning to play music in 2007. Her music is an exploration of materials, as well as the creation and transformation of those materials.

She proposes sound paths that evoke the constant movement between the inner and outer world. In addition, she has started once more to use video as a musical element for creating installations as musical scores.

She has also worked in collaboration with choreographers (William Petit- Mathilde Monfreux), a filmmaker (François Billaud) and musicians (Cati Delolme-Floy Krouchi-David Merlo)

She has received commissions from Ensemble Télémaque and gmem-CNCM Marseille. She has been supported and followed by gmem- CNCM Marseille since 2012. She has given several workshops for students or mixed audiences.

OTOLITH
OTOLITH is a series of live spatial-sound performances with which Ankersmit explores the phenomenon of otoacoustic emissions. These are sounds that are created inside the ears of the listener, by the ears themselves, in response to certain stimulus sounds that he creates. These sonic hallucinations offer an intimate and highly disorienting acoustic experience.
