Shawné Michaelain Holloway (USA), self-discribed »dirty new media artist«, and curator/ art educator Konstanze Schütze will host the first and inaugural issue of this brandnew IRL/URL platform dgtal fmnsm. Under the title GLEAM texts as well as videos, artworks and performances will gather on the brandnew platform. As center part of this predominantly online program, Holloway will present a Live-Online Show under called Futures, Reflections. For her program she will invite many more internationally reknown artists and activists to screen in the room-spanning Installation by the secret feminist sqad (GFS). This Live-Online Show will be live but online screened into the physical space as one of the many obvious and inviting real life gates of the festival that grant access to the platform dgtl fmnsm, its first issue GLEAM and the highly relevant topic of feminsm after the internet. SHAWNÉ MICHAELAIN HOLLOWAY is an internet artist. her work explores the cultural and economic implications of performing identity for online social networking sites. her projects and performances, ranging from serialized live internet video broadcasts to gifs and electronic music are exhibited internationally. she is a participating curator at festivals and conferences including reFreg Festival (paris, france) and gli.tc/h 20112 (chicago, il).
